Who says staying in isn't fun?

Don't feel like going out in the snow on the weekends to find parties or hit the bars?

Organize a Christmas party.  Round up 15-20 of your friends via a Facebook invite.  Divvy up different attendees to bring a salad, dessert, sidedish, and beverage.  You make the main dish and dinner is served.

For some entertainment try a White Elephant exchange (bring a silly, insignificant gift).  It is cheap, fun, and practical -- all things college students love.  You can also try having everyone bring their favorite Christmas movie and then let the group vote on which one to watch.  Don't forget board games are also solid group activities.

If you want to spice it up even more try having an ugly sweater party, with a small prize for the winner.

Christmas is a time for family to get together.  At college your friends ARE your family.  So stay in, gather round, drink some hot chocolate and enjoy each others company.
